Dr. Anna Yumul, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Yumul has been the medical director of Child Guidance Center since 2008. She joined the center as a full-time staff psychiatrist in July 2005. She is responsible for the medication management of the children and adolescents seen in our clinics. She also coordinates with the therapists and case managers to provide comprehensive care.
Dr. Yumul is board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and in adult psychiatry. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she was the chief resident. She did her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Yumul’s clinical interests include parent-child interaction therapy, borderline personality disorder, and sexual abuse treatment.
